VISION

To engage the public & the fashion world in a global health awareness project dedicated to Leg Health, demonstrating that validated compression stockings are not only extremely useful, but also potentially extremely fashionable.

MISSION

Fashion contest open to ALL THE WORLD aimed to identify the best DESIGN for compression stockings, delivering the message of:

Example of a submitted proposal with related explanation.

  1. 1) Global collaboration:
    all continents name on the thigh band + green/white/red/black colors in honor of Italy and Kenya flags.
  2. 2) Africa support: »for Africa» written in the central band
  3. 3) Health promotion: health related words in different languages hidden inside the lines of the design, which includes also the symbol of venous-lymphatic valves to counteract the pathological reflux.

THE RULES & THE AWARD

Designers can submit their proposals from June 17 to Sept 17, 2026 (00.00 Rome time) submitting the pdf with the proposed design, including a max 500 words explanation of the vision and meaning represented by the same desing. The material can be e-mailed to info@vwinfoundation.com. The same address can be used for eventual info.

  1. Free exhibition area for all their present and previous work at the Kenyatta International Convention Center.
  2. Possibility to showcase their work during the Le.G.athering World Runaway Night.

The Winner will also enjoy:

Global production contract for a special compression stocking whose proceedings will contribute to support humanitarian and medical no profit projects for Africa.
